Renewable Energy Systems, Energy Efficiency Grants

 Wednesday, January 21, 2009 - The USDA Rural Development Program will be holding a grant workshop for agricultural businesses and eligible rural businesses to make energy efficiency improvements. The workshop will cover two different programs: the Renewable Energy for America Program (REAP - formerly known as REEG) which involves grants and guaranteed loans for renewable energy projects; and the Value Added Producer Grant (VAPG) program which involves grants for value-added projects.  Registration: No charge but preregistration requested to Linda Holm, lml10@cornell.edu or 727- 7850 ext. 341.
