Frank is a member of the third generation of sod growers in the DeLea family. DeLea Sod Farms/East Coast Sod Farms operate across Long Island and New Jersey and have been in business since 1928. Frank is a Long Island native and stays extremely active as the General Manager overseeing East End operations.

 

Before coming into the business, Frank received a Bachelors degree from Pace University’s, Lubin School of Business, in Economics and Finance. He also earned his Masters degree with honors from Long Island University in Political Theory and Policy. He spent 5 years working at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office where he made many valuable contacts in various State and Federal agencies.

 

Frank holds the position of Secretary on the Executive Board of the LIFB. He has contributed to a variety of committees including the Suffolk County Homestead A-Syst Task Force, the Peconic Bay Medical Center Fundraising Committee, and the Cornell Cooperative Ag Stewardship Program.

 

Frank enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura and his children, Max, Austin, and Lola. He also loves playing golf, reading, and traveling.
